Our Story
Cloche started with a frustration every couple knows: the nightly "what do you want for dinner?" conversation. Our founder, a home cook who loved trying new recipes, realized the problem wasn't finding recipes — it was finding recipes both people would enjoy.
Every existing recipe app was designed for one person browsing alone. Search alone, save alone, cook alone. But most people don't eat alone. Couples, families, and roommates share kitchens — so why doesn't any app reflect that?
The name "Cloche" — the elegant dome-shaped cover used in fine dining — represents how we cover the entire cooking journey: from finding inspiration, to agreeing on what to make, to getting it on the table.
